Cisco | Nantucket, MA

Updated: Jan 13, 2020

We love a place that brings local vendors together- which is why this spot is a must stop.

Cisco Brewers started out in the early 1980's as Nantucket Vineyard and has since evolved into a winery, brewery AND distillery - a place that is sure to please them all.

As if things couldn't get any better - they just opened a sister location...

IN NEW HAMPSHIRE!

THE VIBE

Perfect. The vibe here is everything you'd want it to be - funky, fun and friendly! Cisco is definitely vibin' to the BWG beat inside and out! This destination is tucked away in an unsuspecting wooded area and surrounded by fields of flowers.

Cisco is quintessential Nantucket.

Constructed of wind and salt washed woods, pastel colors and cobblestone walkways.

Food & drinks aside, this is just a beautiful place to visit!

Many patrons come by bicycle, others by party bus.

Order up inside then take the party outside - there's live music and the bands are always bumpin'!

Shout of to Funky Dawgz Brass Band for bringin' down the house

THE EATS

There is something for everyone to drink AND eat here!!

Cisco is home to rotating food trucks so there's always a tasty variety to choose from- for all types of eaters! There's everything from lobster rolls to raw bar, tacos, burgers, dumplings and more!

Naturally we tried and photographed them all- but one that we couldn't get enough of was The Nantucket Lobster Trap.

Nantucket Lobster Trap Food Truck

In bright yellow and very easy to spot- is The Nantucket Lobster Trap food truck. This "on-wheels" version of the Nantucket Lobster Trap restaurant carries around the most delicious and fresh seafood meals and snacks on the island!

From Scallop Rolls and Lobster Rolls to Fish & Chips and Burger Sliders- this food truck doesn't make it easy when it comes to deciding what to order! They have shrimp, calamari, chicken fingers, French fries- even grilled cheese! You don't have to be a seafood lover to indulge at this truck.

Backwoods Goods put its taste buds to the test with their Lobster Roll, Sweet Potato Fries and Burger Sliders.

A+ all around.

But the food doesn't stop there. We also stopped by 167 Rawbar, Big Huge Dumplings and Millie's Taco Cart for some delicious treats.

GOTTA GET :

Shark Tracker - an easy drinkin' light lager for those hot summer days. Proceeds from this brew go to towards projects protecting the ocean and saving sharks 🦈
