Prosciutto & Goat Cheese Crostini

Oh you fancy, huh? No, not exactly, but this is a good way to trick your guests into thinking you are! There's something about a little French & Italian flare that is sure to make any meal a hit. This recipe is great as an appetizer or light brunch and it's super simple!

Servings: 10 | Prep time: 20 minutes | Cook time: 15-20 minutes


NEED IT

- 1 loaf day old french bread

- 2 tbsp olive oil

- 10 slices prosciutto

- 1 cup goat cheese, crumbled

- 2 tbsp local honey

- 1 handful of fresh arugula

- salt and pepper to taste


MAKE IT

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees

- Slice bread at an angle, cut into 10 crostinis

- Brush both sides of the bread with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper

- Arrange flat on a large baking sheet and bake until crusty, about 15-20 minutes

- Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes

- Sprinkle goat cheese evenly on top of each piece

- Coil Prosciutto and place on top as the next layer, using the cheese as an adhesive

- Drizzle liberally with honey and garnish with arugula

- Finish with salt and pepper to taste
